Beginner Classes

Beginners 1 (Level A1.1)

For students with no prior knowledge of German.

In Beginners 1, you will learn to understand and use everyday expressions and basic phrases. You will learn to introduce yourself and others, talk at a basic level about your family, your work and your hobbies. You will learn how to order food and get by at the shops. You will learn numbers and the days of the week.

Beginners 2 (Level A1.2)

For students with some basic knowledge of German. Follow-up course to Beginners 1

In Beginners 2, you will build on your knowledge from Beginners 1. You will learn to talk about the past, giving and understanding directions, sightseeing, catching up with friends, health, your home, holidays and festivities. You will be able to interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
